Tompkins USA designs, manufactures and sells a proprietary line of circular knitting machinery and equipment to the textile industry worldwide. The company has positioned itself for expansive growth by focusing on continued product development of a full range of machines from 2 inch to 26 inches in diameter.

Requirements:
• Experience setting up and running circular knitting machines
• Ability to Travel Domestically and Internationally
• Have a good understanding of fabric structures like Rib, Jersey, Terry, and KDK.
• Mechanical ability to repair and build machine assemblies
• Experience using hand held measuring

Job Outline:
• Responsible for building some sub assemblies
• Responsible for setting machine up to knit customer fabric sample prior to shipping
• Travel to customer’s facility to set up and install knitting machine
• Provide additional training and support at customers or by phone
